If you're a stargazing enthusiast, you're in for a treat this week as a rare planetary alignment is set to take place. This cosmic event occurs when several planets appear to be close together in the sky from our perspective on Earth. It happens because the planets orbit the sun at different speeds and distances, sometimes aligning along the same line of sight.
From March 25th to 30th, five planets and a crescent moon will be visible in the night sky. The planets you can expect to see are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus. On March 30th, the crescent moon will be high in the sky, leaving behind the five planets. Mars will be the highest of them, followed by Venus and Uranus. Jupiter and Mercury will have set before sunset.
